Applying psychological research to global environmental challenges

Kurzfassung/Abstract

Dr. Müller is invited to participate in a panel discussion on the topic of "Applying psychological research to global environmental challenges". His contribution will focus on psychological contributions on climate change. In his research, he develops models that analyze the motives for climate relevant behavior, drawing on theories of environmental responsibility, social justice and self interest. Div. 34 President Susan Clayton, PhD, hopes the division can act as a network for connecting researchers who want to work together, and for promoting psychology's role in understanding environmental issues.
